Aware of Your Credit Record

Nowadays, many people maintain the balance of their financial life by also taking credit. Sometimes the reason is for more practical use like when people using credit card. Other reason is of course to aid financial needs in daily life. However when someone apply for a credit, there are certain characteristics that makes his or her credit application accepted or rejected. Those characteristics are converted into several types of scores. A banker or lender may rely on all kind of scores, but for some others they probably choose only one type of score.

Credit scores are numerical status of someone’s credit record and it is reliable for the next 24 months. So, every time someone files a credit, there are records of how the payments go. If this person has problem with one or several credits, it will be in the record and categorized as bad credit. Later, looking at these records, the lender or banker may decide if it is too risky or not to give this person a loan or credit.

Although it is possible if the mistakes are made by the creditor which reflects bad reputation on a person’s record. In America, survey shows that at least 70% of bad credits are based on this kind of mistakes. In this case, someone can hire a company to do investigation and credit repair. If the investigation shows false documentation, the bad credit record of the person can be wipe out.
